NYU words according to the Nza

[15:46] Aluball17: i emailed his dumbass
[15:46] Aluball17: to call them
[15:46] i62angel: when?
[15:46] Aluball17: cause they wanted to charge him for the windshield wiper
[15:46] Aluball17: 10:23
[15:46] Aluball17: after the email he sent at 10:22
[15:47] i62angel: he didn't get anything
[15:47] i62angel: k- now he got the email
[15:48] Aluball17: amazin how it magically showed up
[15:48] i62angel: lol- he said that he didn't get it.... hes callin them right now
[15:49] i62angel: thank you. have a nice day. its been a pleasure being the middle man. =)
[15:49] Aluball17: we usually cut the middle man and send the calls directly to your people
[15:50] i62angel: my people work hard in calcutta. we are trained professionals.
[15:51] i62angel: oh- i was supposed to ask you.
[15:51] i62angel: how much were they charging for the wiper thing?
[15:51] Aluball17: service for 2 hours
[15:51] Aluball17: i think its like 80 a hour or something
[15:51] i62angel: jeeeezz- thats alot
[15:52] Aluball17: yea tell him i know a chinaman that can build it for 5 bone
[15:53] i62angel: ha- he scoffed. (NYU word)
[15:55] Aluball17: sneered
[15:56] Aluball17: or tell him mocked ( SJU word )
[15:57] i62angel: lol- i cannot placate this behavior.
[16:01] Aluball17: i am out of witty retorts
[16:07] i62angel: you've got to brush up on your NYU words- antiquated, amenable, placate- they can all be a part of your daily repertoire. i'm taking "retorts" though- that's a good one. its been a pleasure as always ....!
[16:09] Aluball17: retort's usage can be found in Pulp Fiction when Jules (not be confused with Jesus who Samuel L. Jackson played in Die Hard with a Vengence) ... when speaking to Brent after killing a member of Brent's "breakfast companions"
[16:18] i62angel: Pulp Fiction certainly has its plethora of NYU words, but I personally enjoy the banter between Jules and Brent where Jules, in a show of machoism threatens the man with "say what again"

The Pizza Guy

Part of my job is to check out the posts on our message board and make sure the game is goin well. I came across this post and went to check it out

http://forums-beta.sportingnews.com/viewtopic.php?t=85443

To sum this up basically The Pizza Guy got to a point where he had to explain why he had no car but delivered pizza's leading to this post :

I used to deliver pizza. I've wanted to avoid this, but I guess I can expend a few paragraphs on the subject....

In November 2003 I was delivering a pizza on the West Side of Chicago. I was on the cell phone talking to the customer. I didn't come to a complete stop at a stop sign and as luck would have it, there was a cop parked nearby.

I parked my car and got out. I made the delivery and when I turned around the CHicago Police threw the cuffs on and put me in the back of a K-9 vehicle, or a vehicle that was designed to carry people face down in the back of a cage. The cops turned back smiling at me and I blew up. The explosion continued for over 12 hours.

When I went before a judge the next day, he released me on an I-Bond or otherwise known as a signiture bond with a promise I would show up in court in Decemebr for running a stop sign. The sheriff got a different order the required him to hold William Robinson in jail on a warrant. 28 days later I was finally released.

As it turns out, there was an arrest warrant for a William E. Roberson of McHenry County, IL. My name is William G. Roberson IV. I live in Cook County. The order the sheriff was give was to release me on the I-Bond and another order to hold a William Robinson.

The sheriff disobeyed the conditions of the court orders. Specifically denying me access to a judge if an authorised person from the county in which the warrant was issued failed to take custody of the person being held on a warrant with in 72 hours. Since they sheriff was thinking he was holding a William Robinson, he never knew William G. Roberson IV was in the building. I was lost in the system.

When I finally got out, all 5 charges were dropped, Running a stop sign, No valid driver's license, no current inssurance, and 2 charges of obstruction, and I learned that my brand new Chrysler Seabring Convertible with only one payment made was towed by the police and destroyed 15 days later while I was being held on the warrant.

Almost a year later I filed a Civil Rights Lawsuit against the police, city, sheriff and county, and continued fighting the false arrest and imprisonment until September 2005. In September I called my mom's lawyer who refered me to a friend of hers, who suggested I talk to this guy. The lawyer took my case at 33% +costs.

I have heard from him since. He said the judge commended me for the quality arguements I filed in court, and allowed the lawyer to start over. He's filed a complaint against Chicago, the police, Cook County and sheriff for 2 million dollars. 500K each. I have been waiting for word to go get paid and I expect this to happen anyday, most likely sometime soon around the begining of the new fiscal year, or November.

The answer to your question is yes. You need a car, license and insurance to deliver pizza, and NO, I don't not have a car. The city sold or destroyed it while I was in jail. I could however rent a car and deliver pizza, and I am thinking that that is what I should do for the next few weekends. The problem is fear of the police, does this other William Roberson still have warrants out. I know he was released from jail. I watched it happen.

I can not get this settlement soon enough in my opinion. I'm feeling a lot better now that I don't have to go to court every month and rarely discuss the matter any more. I just jump every time the phone rings.
